Waiting for the next part. I loved the way you bring the lock down to the attention of the reader, with the phrases scattered through the narrative. Also loved the way Muzaffarnagar is brought it. I think, reading all your stories set there, I'll now have to actually visit the place.

Also, I have been reading Diwali in Muzzafarnagar, and I can safely say that this (part of the) story has etched the city deeper into my literary imagination. It's as if the city is the recurring character in your stories, and there is something very comforting about that.
